Size & Frame Guide
We offer two kinds of framed art. Framed Canvas Prints are printed on archival-grade canvas, stretched over solid wood bars and set in a 1.5" deep floating frame. Framed Archival Giclée Prints are printed on 100% cotton matte fine art paper and framed in wood with a 2-inch white mat and clear acrylic front. Here's how to pick the right size and frame for your wall.

Framed Canvas Prints
Sizes are the canvas dimensions in inches, width x height. The floating frame adds a little to each side.

Framed Archival Giclée Prints
Sizes are the printed image in inches, width x height. The mat and frame add about 5¾ inches to both the width and the height, so a 12x16 print is about 17¾ x 21¾ inches framed.

Choosing a size for your wall
- Over a sofa, bed or console: a common guideline is to choose art about two-thirds the width of the furniture below it.
- Hanging height: many designers hang art so its center sits around eye level, roughly 57 to 60 inches from the floor. Over furniture, leave about 8 to 10 inches between the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
- Not sure? Cut a piece of paper or painter's tape to the size you're considering and tape it to the wall for a day.

Frames
Framed Canvas Prints come in a premium 1.5" deep floating wood frame. A small shadow gap between the canvas and the frame keeps the whole image visible and gives the piece depth on the wall. Framed Archival Giclée Prints come in a wood frame with a 2-inch white mat. Both come in three colors.
- Black: crisp and modern, and works with almost any palette.
- Espresso: a deep brown that warms up moody and earthy pieces.
- Natural Maple: a light wood tone for airy, Scandinavian and coastal rooms.
